Words, symbols and relationships conveyed by clients, built spaces and nature can reveal depths of information and patterns across physical, energetic, and behavioral layers.

An animistic perspective places her within an environment instead of on it, and she aims to help clients sense and foster a relationship with their internal and external space. 

Through the lens of Elemental archetypes, current, fundamental and potential imbalances are considered along with your needs and intentions.

*Foundational to her process is the wisdom nature generously offers through Elemental archetypes, their cycles and relationships [as found in Ayurveda, Paganism and Taoist Wu Xing]. The intuitive, yet systematic method helps her decode imbalances in clients, spaces and relationships, while offering a formula for remedies that can support balance and harmony.

El grew up on a quiet lake in rural Minnesota where the year round mantra of “go outside” was answered by playing ‘wilderness children’ with her siblings, accompanied by the trees, stones and water. Her spiritual journey began early studying Buddhism in middle school and Hermeticism in high school. In 1999 she began practicing yoga and meditation, and in 2003 she traveled to India to practice asana, pranayama, and meditation with masters. Outside Mumbai, El had an alchemizing sonic experience in ancient Buddhist dwelling spaces, leading her to the study the healing potentials of sound.

A lover of design at all scales, El became curious about the energetic and emotional effects of acoustics and the general impacts of built spaces on well-being. To better understand the design process she sought a job in architecture and was welcomed at RoTo Architects. Under the guidance and encouragement of Michael Rotondi, Tenzin Wangdu Thokme, and Nels Long,  El spent several years exploring how to incorporate her experience into design. During that time she became accredited in the WELL and Fitwel building standards and certified in Feng Shui. With Wangdu, her first project was creating a meditation space in an unused corner of the office, composed of material remnants from RoTo’s 'Still Points' exhibit.

After decades of exploring, El has been reacquainted with the wisdom of her first teachers — the trees, stones and water. El is grateful to bring her visions, experiences, and training into a suite of remedies that help support internal and external environments, on every scale.
